A project done with Rock River Star. We provided fresh, innovative content strategy, information architecture, and visual design for New Jersey's state Jobs & Career portal. Clients of New Jersey Career Connections come during a time of uncertainty. The branding colors, typefaces, and iconography were all chosen to convey reassurance, empowerment, and action.
New Jersey Career Connections seeks to serve and guide clients as they maneuver through the process of finding a job or restarting their career. A subtle theme of navigation imbues the branding: maps, compasses, latitude and longitude, etc.
Deliverables included 2 rounds of style tiles presented to the NJ Career Connections comittee to communicate the essence of a visual brand, UX design mockups for the state's Integrated Workforce Registration System (IWRS) and Workforce Integrated Profile Page (WIPP), website wireframes and Photoshop mockups, CSS files, and a cohesive branding style guide.
